Food-y Survey

‘Ello, muppets!

Thank you so so so much for the kind words!

Yesterday was pretty rough… I’m glad I had you guys to tell me to “rest and get well soon”! I really do love you all Smiley piscando

Anyway – I prepared a little something for today’s post… Hope you like it!

ABC Food Survey

A is for Apple, what’s your favorite variety? I don’t know… All of them? Haha! My favorites though are probably those mini-apples my local grocery store sells in little plastic bags… They’re meant to be eaten by children, but hey – I’m still 5 at heart! Smiley piscando

B: is for Bread, regardless of nutrition, calories, or whole grains what is your favorite type to have a nice big piece of? Probably focaccia! No, australian bread (the one from Outback Steakhouse?)! No… I don’t know! Can’t decide! Haha Smiley mostrando a língua

C: is for Cereal what is your favorite kind currently (just one!) Fiber One Garoto paquerando

D: is for Doughnuts, you might not currently be eating them but what kind do you fancy? I don’t know! I think I ate a doughnut once… But I can’t remember what it tasted like Smiley triste

E: is for Eggs, how would you like yours prepared? Either cooked or in “1-egg-omelet” form

F: is for Fat Free, what is your favorite fat free product? Love me some Cottage Cheese ❤

G: is for Groceries, where do you purchase yours? Either at Farinha Pura or Cobal! I wish you guys knew those Alegre

H: is for Hot Beverages, what is your favorite hot drink? Probably coffee (with a bit of milk!) or hot cocoa (cocoa powder+milk)

I: is for Ice Cream, pick a favorite flavor and add a fun topping. It’s been AGES since my last “real” Ice Cream, but Grape Fro-Yo is definitely one of my favorites (also Tangerine! Yuuuuuum)!

J: is for Jams or Jellies, do you eat them, and if so what kind and flavor? I never tried jams or jellies (also, what’s the difference between those two? Educate me, please!)

K: is for Kashi, name your favorite Kashi product? Never tried Kashi products before Smiley triste But I will, in January 2012 Smiley de boca aberta

L: is for Lunch, what was yours today? I had a slice of cheese quiche with a garbanzo+argula+dried tomato salad

M: is for microwave, what is your favorite microwave meal/snack? I never eat microwave food (Mom won’t let me!)

N: is for nutrients, do you likes carbs, fats, or proteins? Carbs and fats are favorites, basically “fun” foods Smiley de boca aberta I have nothing against protein, but they’re not on the top of my list of “favorites”, if you know what I mean Smiley piscando

P: is for protein, how do you get yours? Eggs, garbanzo beans, cottage cheese, sometimes turkey and/or chicken.

Q: is for Quaker, how do you like your oats? I don’t usually eat oatmeal (I’m still experimenting!), but PB does complement it perfectly Alegre

R: is for roasting, what is your favorite thing to roast? Veggies, definitely!

S: is for sandwich, what’s your favorite kind? Do I really have to choose only one?! Smiley confuso I’d have to go with smoked salmon+buffallo mozzarella on focaccia bread. Don’t knock it ‘till you try it!

T: is for travel, how do you handle eating while traveling? I try to eat unique things, but I always end up choosing what’s sounds most appealing! I have pretty healthy tastebuds, so that isn’t really an issue Alegre

U: is for unique, what is one of your weirdest food combos? I don’t know! Is plain cereal+PB a weird combo? I eat that a lot Smiley piscando

V: is for vitamins, what kind do you take? I probably should, but I don’t take any vitamins

W: is for wasabi, yay or nay? Yay and nay. I love its spiciness.. but sometimes its after-taste can be pretty brutal, haha

X: is for exotic foods, what’s the most exotic food you’ve tried: I’ve tried sweet (actually, orange-y) black bean soup once! It was pretty weird, haha.

Y: is for youth, what food reminds you of your childhood? Mozzarella Pizza, hot chocolate, instant noodles, Cheddar McMelt, Brigadeiro, M&M’s… As you can see, I was a healthy little girl Smiley piscando

Z: is for zucchini, how do you prepare it? I usually cook it!

I hope I didn’t bore you too much!

I’m off to bed… See y’all soon?

G’s Q’s:

Do you like doing surveys?

Mostly, yes! But only when I feel like it Smiley piscando

Forget about calories, nutrients and “what’s good for you” – do you like Domino’s pizza?

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a slice… But yeeees, I remember liking it very much!

  2. I like this survey and it wasn’t a bore at all! Domino’s pizza isn’t my favorite, but I would definitely enjoy it if I had to eat it.
    Have a good weekend!

  3. Jessica

I love surveys too! It wasn’t boring at all, I think they are a great way to learn about other bloggers!

    • Thank yoooou, Jessica!
I love reading surveys on other blogs, too – it’s exactly why I decided to do this one 🙂
I’ve been reading your blog for a loooooooooooong time – I’m so excited that you commented your mine!
It feels like a celebrity just noticed me 😉
      Thanks for stopping by!
      Wish you an amazing week!

  4. Kat

Jam has bits of fruit pieces in it, whereas jelly is smooth.. not sure if that helps.

If you like cooked apples, they’re super yummy in oatmeal

what does salmon taste like? It’s one fish I have never had – not even in sushi.

    • It does!! Hahaha, I can’t believe I’ll be finally able to tell the difference between those two :DThank yooou ;)I’ll deifinitely try cooked apples! They sound sooo delicious! And you’ve NEVER had salmon?!?! Seriously?!?!?!PLEASE, go to a japanese restaurant ASAP and order salmon sushi (raw salmon on top of rice balls) or hot philadelphia rolls (fried salmon+rice rolls). Don’t forget to add some shoyo to each roll/sushi you put in your mouth – it tastes like heaven! I promise ;)But seriously, you definitely should try some. Please tell me what did you think of it afterwards!I’m really curious to know your opinion :)Have an amazing Sunday, Kat!xoxoxoxoxo

  5. Great answers- I actually filled out the same one a few months ago! My mom is just as neurotic when it comes to microwaves!

    • YAY! I’ll definitely look for that post in your blog! I’m curious to find out about your answers 😉 And I guess I should be more aware of what I put into the microwave… but, seriously? I don’t even have enough time to eat slowly – thinking about microwave’s possible (and future) damages is definitely not a priority right now! I’m so lucky for having a Mom to take care of me, though… Guess I’d be pretty lost without her 🙂 Hope you’re having an amazing day, K! xoxoxoxo

Try granola, it’s delicious! And if you like Domino’s pizza, have some! 🙂 Also, I love froyo but real ice cream is fantastic – I encourage you to give Coldstone a shot in the near future (or, if you’re not in the US, Haagen Dazs/Ben & Jerry’s can be bought pretty much anywhere….)

    • I love granola! Now that you mentioned it, wish I ate it more often 🙂
It’s been a long time since my last slice, but I’m definitely going to have one the next time my parents/friends order pizza from Domino’s!
I’ve never seen Ben&Jerry’s around here, but Haagen Dazs is everywhere! Too bad it’s so darn expensive – but I’ll also try it as soon as I have the chance to do so 😉
Thanks for all the great tips, girl!
